Keir Gibson

Keir Gibson

Keir Gibson is a songwriter from Fort William, in the Highlands of Scotland.

His debut single ‘Eyes Wide’, released in August 2019 after a triumphant return to the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, saw numerous playlist additions across the UK and Europe, and a positive critical response from major new music blogs “all is indie”, "indietronica" and “hype machine”. It was a compelling and assured introduction from the unassuming 18 year old, who literally grew up in the shadow of the UK's highest mountain Ben Nevis.

Second single 'Hollow' was released in November 2019 and built on the early promise of his debut. Different in lyrical weight and scope, 'Hollow's immediacy prompted a fresh set of admirers with further inclusions on playlists across the world, most notably 'Popmuzik', and popular YouTube channels 'Ethereal' and 'The Good Melodies'.

Ending the year strong, Keir and band played to 5,000 revellers at the infamous Edinburgh New Year street party, endearing him to a host of new international fans. The reaction was incredible and was topped only when BBC Radio 1 played 'Hollow' on the Scott Mills show a few days later. An incredible feat for an unsigned act.

With the support of his growing fan base, playlists, and local and national radio stations, Keir's music is reaching an audience who yearn for honest and bold storytelling set to a cinematic pop landscape. The new year will see extensive touring and the release of new music.
