The Carloways are an Americana / Rock n Roll band from Perthshire, Scotland. They are currently touring and working on their first album, due for release in Spring 2019.
Formed by school friends, the band have played countless gigs and festivals for the last 3 years, reaching as far as Cornwall, Thurso, Stornoway and everywhere in-between. 2017 saw the band perform 19 sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. They have recently supported acts such as The Magic Numbers.
In April 2018 the band recorded their debut E.P. with producer Paul McInally (Florence and The Machine, The Lapelles) at 45 A-Side Studios in Glasgow. This was released on July 1st 2018. The track "Crawlin' Back" was used as Belladrum Festival's 2018 soundtrack.
The Carloways will be premiering songs from the upcoming album, the first time they will be heard in a live setting, at March Into Pitlochry, along with some tracks from the EP.
